Theory Of Mankind

Certain people have distinguished themselves by seeking the path of leisure and claiming that they rely on God, saying, “We do not hold onto any possessions, and we do not prepare provisions for our journeys, because the body’s sustenance will come [through God].” This is opposite to Islamic principles, for the Prophet, (peace and blessings of God be upon him), forbade throwing away wealth, and Musa, (peace and blessings of God be upon him), prepared provisions before setting out to meet al-Khiḍr, and our Prophet, (peace and blessings of God be upon him), prepared provisions before going on his hijra. And regarding this matter, this saying of God, glory to Him, has reached us, “And prepare provisions for yourself, and the best of provisions is the fear of God.”
Know that the best of matters is to be moderate in all things. If we see that attachment to the worldly life has overcome someone and has corrupted their deeds, we will ask them to remember death, their reception after death, and the afterlife. As for a scholar from whom the thought of death does not depart, and words are spoken to him, or by him, regarding the afterlife, then his remembrance of death, beyond these, will have no benefit except for sapping him of energy.
It is more fitting for this scholar, who strongly fears God, glory to Him, and who performs much remembrance of the afterlife, to busy himself with things that would take his thoughts away from death, so that a little of his attachment to the worldly life may return, so that he has the motivation to write, do good deeds, and to be able to work toward raising a family.
May Almighty ALLĀH Continue to protect us all Besihiri Kunfayekun...........
